Bob Podgorny

Trustee, Fraternal Order of Police, Chicago Lodge 7

Bob Pdgorny served on the Board of Directors for Chicago Lodge 7 for twenty-oneyears, serving twelve of those years as the 1st Vice President. He was recently elected, by the membership, as a Trustee. Bob retired in June of 2003 and has requested to be appointed to the Retiree Committtee.

Bob has been involved with the National Conference on Public Employee Retirement Systems since 1996 and currently serves as its President. NCPERS is a Washington, DC based organization known as "The voice of public pensions". It has over 500 police, fire, and teacher pension funds as members and has been in existence since 1941.
