Officer Memorial

In memory of all Chicago Police Officers who have made the supreme sacrifice, Chicago Lodge 7 constructed the Chicago Police Memorial Monument on May 29, 1998.

More than 14,000 law enforcement officers have been killed in the line of duty throughout our nation's history. In Chicago alone, since the first officer, Casper Lauer was killed in 1854, we have lost over 450 officers whose names are inscribed on our monument, a permanent place of honor.

Our success of constructing this monument would not have been possible without the support of our membership, friends and families. We thank each and every person who contributed to the realization of our monument and we especially thank the members of the gold star families who have given so much.

The Chicago Memorial Monument is located at our Lodge, 1412 W. Washington Blvd. Please feel free to stop by and pay tribute to our fallen brothers and sisters.
