Westat, a national research firm, has temporary, part-time opportunities to staff the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP), a federally mandated education research study.  Candidates should enjoy working in schools, be detail oriented, be able to work in a team environment, have good communication skills, and have some education or research experience.

Principal duties include:

·      Administering assessment sessions in schools for a group of approximately 30 students

·      Ensuring quality control is achieved by preparing, reviewing, and coding assessment forms

Job assignments begin in late 2008 and early 2009, and offer competitive pay rates.  Candidates must complete a Federal background security check, provide their own transportation, and be able to carry 15 lb. boxes.  Reimbursement for local travel may be available.
