Emerald Society of Illinois’s Annual St. Patrick’s Parade March

The Emerald Society of Illinois (Irish American Police Association) will hold its annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade March and Post Parade celebration on Saturday, 17 March 2012 at Local 399′s Hall. Buses to the parade route will begin loading at 10:30am at the hall and the celebration will begin when the first group of marchers returns.

Location: 2260 S Grove St (22nd and Canal)

Benefit – Coming Out For Colucci

Chicago Police Officer Lorenzo Colucci, Star #15481, was diagnosed with Advanced Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Since being diagnosed, Lorenzo has undergone treatment including several rounds of chemotherapy at Northwestern Memorial.

Due to the duration and type of treatment for this form of cancer, his out-of-pocket medical expenses are beginning to mount at an acelerated pace.

Let’s help Lorenzo’s Family offser some of those medical expenses while he bravely battles this disease!
