A
representative of the Illinois
Retired Officer Concealed Carry
program has just notified the Lodge
as to the process by which Chicago
retirees can qualify to carry
concealed. Those who have already
submitted their application form to
the pension Board for certification
of being on pension can send their
other documents to IROCC as directed
in the materials. The forms at the
pension fund will be sent to IROCC
for them. Any members who plan to
apply in the future will be required
to obtain the forms from IROCC, have
the pension Board fill out the form
attesting to your being on pension
and after you have completed the
remaining forms, send the entire
package to IROCC as directed. The
Lodge is grateful to the members of
IROCC and the Police Training
Standards Board for their efforts
during this tedious process in
dealing with the City. |
