Originally Posted on May 16, 2017 Sergeant Stephen Boyd was shot in the leg in the course of a robbery on March 26, 2016 outside of his home. He returned fired and wounded one of two offenders. Both offenders were captured. The Chicago Cubs are honoring Sergeant Boyd on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 as they take on the Cincinnati Reds at 7:05 pm at Wrigley Field.
