Some Retirees have reached out about being vaccinated for COVID-19. The vaccines are not offered through the FOP, as our prior email stated it was through Chicago Police Department e-mail and therefore it is only for Active Officers.

If you are an Active Officer and did not receive a COVID-19 Vaccine survey sent out by CPD it may be because you had already addressed it in the COVID-19 Training in e-learning. If you did not complete the e-learning survey for COVID-19 in e-learning and still did not receive the survey via Department e-mail you need to reach out to the City's HR Department and Labor Relations Division as we do not have the capability to send out their email to you again.

We do not have access to vaccines as they are distributed by IDPH. Retirees may be eligible through their county, you should contact your doctor and they should let you know if it is available to you.

The state also launched a website to help find a vaccination station near you.

Vaccination sign-up:

State website: coronavirus.illinois.gov/s/vaccination-location

Walgreens: walgreens.com/findcare/vaccination/covid-19

Jewel: mhealthappointments.com/covidappt
