On Friday, June 2, 2023 my sister April tragically and unexpectedly lost her husband and life partner Brian Kessem. April and Brian were married 16 years. Brian passed away peacefully in his sleep. He was only 54 years old. April and Brian have two boys, Cliff, 15 and Jackson, 13. Brian was a 27 year veteran of the Chicago Police Department.
