Remembering CPD Officer Mike Ceriale

Yesterday, August 15th, marked the 25th anniversary of the shooting of our CPD brother, Mike Ceriale.

Mike was twenty-six years old and had less than a year and a half of service on the job at the time.

Mike was a fighter and held on for six days in the hospital where he finally succumbed to his gunshot wound on August 21st, 1998.

Please take a moment to remember Mike, as well as the other heroes the CPD has lost in the line of duty.

We hold these heroes close to our heart and they will always be remembered.
